ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The RE504836 oil filter is one of the most popular filters used in John Deere tractors. We offer a replacement of comparable quality to the original.

Filter type: spin-on

Resistance to harsh conditions.

The filter withstands large, sudden changes in oil pressure (e.g., when turning the machine on/off or changing load). Advantage: the filter will not burst during heavy field work.

Strong as oak.

The filter can withstand a pressure of at least 1000 kPa (or 10 bar). Advantage: when you start the machine in winter and the oil is thick (high pressure), the filter won't damage, protecting the engine and hydraulics from contaminated oil.

The emergency valve operates safely.

This valve is an "emergency route" for oil when the filter is completely clogged. It opens at low pressure (below 28 kPa) to prevent the machine from running dry. Advantage: Ensures that even with a clogged filter, oil reaches critical machine parts (better dirty than none at all), protecting the pump from seizure.

Greater dirt capacity.

The filter can hold at least 20 grams of dirt before it clogs and the emergency valve activates. Advantage: You can easily replace the filter every 250 operating hours or annually.

Excellent oil cleaning.

The filter captures at least 95% of dirt particles down to 30 microns. Advantage: Clean oil means longer life for your hydraulics, pumps, and injectors. Protect your most expensive components!

Resistant to crushing even with thick, cold oil.

The machine starts safely, and the filter will not fail under high pressure (ISO 2941 tests).
